SK Agro
S K Agro was established with the primary objective of strengthening the supply of essential raw materials, particularly maize, through a well-structured contract farming system. The company works with around 200 farmers from remote areas, empowering them with knowledge, resources, and guaranteed markets. To support these farmers, S K Agro provides access to a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment, including tractors, excavators, soil development tools, seeding machines, harvesters, and dryers.
The company also manages coconut plantations, maize, and vegetable cultivation, while engaging in both imports and local purchases of raw materials. Under the leadership of Mr. D.H.L.S. Navarathna and the S K Group’s management team, along with 20 permanent employees, S K Agro continues to play a vital role in developing the country’s agribusiness sector.
